Dear Parents and Guardians,
As this semester comes to an end, we are excited to look forward to next semester and the changes it will bring. As we are changing the class schedules for middle and high school, our day will have to be extended by 5 minutes. The new dismissal time for all grades (K-12) will now be 3:40 PM. Please make sure to adjust your bus pick-up time accordingly. The new bell schedule and middle and high school class schedules will be posted on our website HERE.
Elementary:
Due to unforeseen circumstances, our elementary PE teacher has decided to take a different position. This has caused some movement among teachers, in order to continue to provide PE to our students. Starting January 15, Ms. Shawna Mabe (currently 3rd grade) will be our elementary PE teacher. Mrs. Lisa Gotto (currently interventionist) will take over 3rd grade.
Middle and High School:
Due to state requirements of minutes per class, we had to adjust our schedule. We are now going to a 4x4 block schedule. This means our students will attend 4 classes per day and have different subjects every other day. Monday and Wednesday are designated “A” days and Tuesday and Thursday are designated “B” days.
These changes, even though not small, are exciting and will offer great opportunities for our students. As always, we appreciate your continued support for our staff and students.
