Everyone,
The Transportation Department is beginning to roll out the new bus tracking system, StopFinder. It isn't fully operational yet, but emails did go out to all primany student contacts as listed in Infinite Campus for creating accounts.
Thank you.
Parents, Guardians, and Community members,
A bus was in an accident in Pahrump on 160 near the Pour House. No students were on board. An alternate bus was sent to cover the route. We do not expect any alterations to bus drop off times. The driver was not injured.
Please be aware that bus morning pick-up times are changing by 15 minutes.
The morning stop times for all GenEd (Regular) buses for PVHS and all Pahrump Elementary Schools will be adjusted to 15 minutes later than originally published. This does NOT include RCMS. Please check the district website link "Where's my bus stop?" for updated times. (https://bit.ly/ncsdstopfinder)

The editor, Mrs. Amy Veloz, has done a nice job highlighting many of our leaders and athletics.

During practice drills, your student learned this means any outside activities are moved inside and no students or staff are allowed outside the building. All exterior doors are locked. No one is allowed to enter the building except for response personnel. Classroom instruction continues with limited hallway traffic. Please monitor the Nye County School District Website or Facebook page for additional information as it becomes available.

Manse's student of the month ceremonies scheduled today at 9:30 and 10:05 will be rescheduled for a future date.
Changes to the 2:30 event are yet to be determined.
Power Outage at Manse
VEA is enroute to address and repair the northern Pahrump power outage, which is affecting Manse.
Manse students are beginning breakfast in the classroom, and instruction will move forward with adaptations to the power situation.
VEA is expecting to have the power restored shortly.
Manse phones are being rerouted to the district office until the power returns.
VEA has restored power at the district office in Pahrump. It will take between and 30-60 minutes to bring all systems back online for internet and phones.
VEA is estimating another 90 minutes to repair the power at the district office, which has taken out phones and internet at the schools. They found the source of the outage and have a crew on the way.
Classes are proceeding mostly normally. There is no change to school schedules.
